special help for deep spiritual attachment
Sometimes we are presented with challenges in our life that we struggle to overcome.
There are two areas in particular that can consume us. One is substance dependence—alcohol, tobacco and cannabis. The second is the loss of a child.
We get counseling about how to work with these matters through talk therapy, exercise, forms of body work and more. These approaches can help and work for many. But for others who have trouble and do not find resolution with these approaches, one asks, why?
The world is alive. This means that a lot of the ‘things’ that we see as objects or substances have spirit. These spirits affect us, can take control, mislead us or cause us to not to be present in our lives for ourselves and others.
There are ceremonies that address these challenges from a spiritual perspective. These ceremonies work with spiritual remediation.
Alcohol, Tobacco, and Cannabis
Alcohol, tobacco and cannabis are three very strong substances. Each one has a spirit.
This spirit can be very engulfing. It can be a trickster, a comforter, a means of not paying attention to the pain in one’s life. Even when we recognize that this is happening to us, the spirit of the substance can hold us.
There are ceremonies which can release this hold. The ceremonies address the spirit of the substance to ask for release, to remediate what has been improper in the relationship.
Like so much in life, this requires a commitment and work. It is not a magic pill nor the waving of a wand.
Loss of a Child
Losing one’s child is difficult. The child is of and from the mother. Loss can be through the child’s passing shortly after birth, miscarriage or termination.
When this happens, the spirit of the child can remain in the presence of the mother, because the child knows no difference. The child’s spirit is bonded with the mother and remains with her. Sometimes the mother is the one that is unable to let go. The mother can experience this as the spirit being present with her.
The effects on the mother vary from not being aware of this presence, to sensing the child, to holding onto her own grief.
When a child passes, there is a natural order for the spirit to move onto the next stage, like with all humans. Often neither the child nor the mother knows how to help this movement.
There is a ceremony for the mother to perform that allows for the child to move on and for the mother to be at peace with the passing.
